You can bypass the neutral safety switch on a TF727 transmission. It works
by grounding the current to the coil (as I vaguely remember without the
manual in front of me) to the case unless the selector is in either park or
neutral.  Mine is set up with a jumper and it starts in any gear.  I've
been looking for the right connector for this so that when I get it put
back together (two thrown rods), it won't drive through the garage door
unless I really want it to.

I wouldn't suggest doing this.  If anyone has a source for the
three-pronged plug, I'd appreciate an email
