Garry rudd told us back on May 1st:

"Another alternative came from Mark at MAD electrical who wires hot rods
and race cars. He suggested to me that a very good, high output replacement
was the alternator form a 1984 Camaro Z/28. It is a 94 amp version that
apparently has a new case and fan design for improved cooling. The GM part
# is 1049709. The AC/Delco part # is 321-266. Just another option to
consider."
