Who needs cats and dogs!

When one of my kids say they want a pet I tell them their little brother
is your pet:  you can feed him, take him for walks, and clean up any mess
he makes.  
This has been my policy for all my kids(6, ages 16 to 3); if they want a
pet adopt a sibling.
