NaOH as a Desiccant
NaOH is better known as Sodium Hydroxide, a very, very strong base. Not
something I would want to mess around with, much less see something eat. When
we used it in dilute form in Chemistry we always used the NaOH under the hood.
I have never heard of it being used as a Desiccant, but then again I never did
get that involved in Chem.
