Howard:

My Z/28 has the M21 Muncie. This was considered a "wide ratio" tranny. But,
by IH truck tranny standards, I'm sure it is in the "close ratio" category.
A very close ratio M22 was optional. If I remember, I'll look up the ratios
tonight. "Close" means something for these GM hot-rod trannys. Like 20%
difference or less, per gear.
