Fram extra filters and more on 152s
Terry,
Please do send info on the filters. I plan to finally install my oil
press and coolant temp gauges int he T'all over the holiday shutdown here at
Club Ray Tucson. Also, what a pretty picture Mt. Foreman paints of our AridZona
persona. Eco Defense. Yeah. Move to Antarctica, you can have 89 Billion acres
all to yourself!
Look forward to the info on the Fram. My 345 filter goes in vertical
(convenience) the 392s go in at angles, and they are opposite from the 2wd to
the 4wd!

Mark,
You're the only one to see that about the condition of the upholstery in
this truck! If I told you the condition of the other cars in the apartment's
lot, you'd have to get paid to go in there to look! They have a 1.5 foot water
crossing to get from the apartments to the lot! My friends Porsche had to be
left on the street when we went to look at this. Like 5 other nuisances in the
lot, and the guy that came over to show the truck, had to work on his van in
order to leave afterwards. Laughing inside, all it takes is some TLC now and
then, instead of inattention 24/7/365. The 152 is not veritcally mounted in the
truck. The right bank of cylinders is there, yes, but the entire engine has a
distinct cant to starboard. Maybe like 15 or 20 degrees.
We'll see,

Joel,
Ummm ..."swimsuit competition?" Nice play on words.
The 152 is probably like my 196 ...all is as if it were a V8 except
the driver side bank is not cast. The 196 driver side motor mount
has to make a greater stretch too. Don't believe there is any slant
...is not the distributor standing straight up in the front? My 196
backend is as a V8 ...same number of bolts in the same places. I do
not remember if the gearbox input shaft is altered (shorter or
longer) ...for some reason I think it the same as V8 (T19).
Good luck!
Can you get it for free? Heck, request a cash reward
...you are removing a "public nuisance"
