In looking at the manuals for my Scout, they definitely are not up to the
stds of Ford manuals from 1980 on.  

On torque values, there is a general table included with the engine
sectifon.  

The other thing is that I noticed that the torque values seemed low then I
noticed that they are given for lubricated bolts.  I've always seen clean
and dry before.  Typically, lubed values should be about half that for
dry.  this is usefull because I can use these torque values with
anti-sieze lube.
