yes, I know John, and I stand by my oplinio a one peice tool is better than a 2 peice

hey, a tip here when building, if possible, fill the filter all or part way, and you'll save time. also a good idea when doing oild changes, so you don't run your engine dry during those couple seconds of start up.

interesting. I've never had that problem.

warning tom: I just rebuilt one of these, make sure it is rebuildable. the one I did had a good block, intercooler, and pan. the rest we had to order, and even with Stewart and stevenson supporting my school (the owner of DDC), it still took a month to get all the needed parts.

of course in their defense, all parts were used from other junk engines.

IMACA's good for life, as I understand it.

I don't know if I mentioned it, but the only ASE I hold is Cylinder heads, I'll probably get Blocks and Assembly in the spring so I can claim I have the Master machinist ASE.

ok, here's my mini-courses: Mack engines, Detroit engines, Mack twin shaft manual trans, Allision automatics, Thermo-King service and repair, Bendix air Brakes

oh, and a class "A" Utah CDL.

I already mentioned my opinion on racing, but for the list it's this: so you can go fast. big deal.

hmm, I would be interested in learning more here. I was thinking of eventually putting a diesel in the scout I'm buying, and was thinking an "a" cummins, but if I can keep it IH, that would be better.

gonna need it with what I want to do :-) 38" tires, d60 front/D70 rear, Medium duty 5 spd w/ granny and OD :-)

hey, there's a rumor floating around school that Case is planning to produce a scout IV. any comments as to the truth of this rumor?

my only opinion is if they do, and it's only half as good as it's predecessors, it'll still be way better than anything else on the market.

I'd agree.

yeah it did. glad to meet you. oh, and if it is ever your turn to buy the beers, I'll pass. I'm LDS.
