TBI #2



Oh, and AFAIK you don't even need the speed sensor- for my '91 its only
purpose was to lock-up the auto tranny, which I don't even have.

Of course, the "check engine light" always stays on w/out it.

And you don't even need the expensive Painless wiring harness- you can
easily hack the junkyard harness w/out much problems, given the GM manual of
course.

As far as cost, the junkyards can be ridiculous, but I got my TBI for $600-
and it happened to be bolted to a 6000mi V6 engine with the wiring harness!
Seriously, of course, it was an ad through the newspaper for the engine,
with the TBI still on it.

You also probably don't need the 4 injector TBI for an IH block, unless
you're planning balancing it for like 6000 RPM.
