I have owned two Scout 800's with T-98 trannys. One a 67 4cyl 4spd, these trannys were uniqe to the 4cyl scouts with their short imput shaft, so it must be factory. The other I still have and its a 1971 800B with a V8 and a t-98. Both of these are 4wheel drive, and as far as I know the trannys were factory. Joel Webster 69 Scout 800A Aristocrat
