   You can visit my webpage for some details on my conversion
of automatic to 5 speed on my 72 1210.  Note that the tranny
mounts for a 74 are different, on mine the tranny is supported
by a bolt-in crossmember under the bellhousing.  I believe
the engine/tranny was moved back in 74/75, so the mountings
all changed.  Finding a donor 74/75 with a 5 speed would be
best, though if you have the 74/75 parts manual we might be
able to figure a solution by comparing to my 72/73 parts manual.
