interesting tidbits

Reapers,
I was playing with Ugly today and fixed a problem that has been
plagueing me for a while. If you will recall last month I was
complaining of 'leak down' on my brake system. This was naturally writen
off as a Master Cylinder. Well, I was busy and never did get around to
replacing my master cylinder, but; the problem was sporatic, it would
come and go. I was suspecting that my Power Booster was at fault. When I
would drop from a high RPM to a suddon of rapid stop I would have a hard
constant pedal, but; when I was sitting at a light when I would roll or
pump the brakes I would loose pedal. Well, I was poking around Ugly's
heart and noticed that the manifold nipple where the vacumn line for the
booster comes from wasn't hose clamped. I put a worm gear clamp on and
now my problem seems to be solved.
