800 master cylinder woes
on my 800 with the new disks, i have now swapped in a new(rebuilt)
master cylinder. it seems to be doing the same thing--not holding its
pressure. it seems that the piston might be releasing too far and
letting the pressure i have built up escape. i think that doug r. was
on the right track in his last post. does the piston travelling too
far either in or out make any sense to anybody? since it is basically
scout 2 brakes right now do you think i should swap in a scout 2 push
rod. if i remeber correctly they are shorter therefor the piston
would not travel as far in. please help if you can as the weather is
finaly getting nice in florida. i also have a 65 to get running and a
79 to make go away. thanks.
