Fuel Economy [WAS: Help please!]

In a brilliant stroke of genius, KB7VKL@domain.elided blurted out:

Depending on the gearing, tire size, driving habits (of course), yada,
yada... the average highway fuel economy seems to be around 13 to 14 mpg.
City driving typically drops the mileage down to 10 to 12 mpg. As
expected, combined city / highway nets around 12 to 13 mpg. Towing or
heavy hauling nets around 8 to 10 mpg.

Some owners report some occasional non-typical freeway mileage figures of
as high as 17+ mpg. I wouldn't ever expect to see that, although you never
know... you might be one of the lucky ones.

Regards,

John
