Re: Our Nats

Dennis,

<<Hi Steve,
Well I have just under 400K,and I use the truck every day.Work is 23
miles one way for me so you had better start putting miles on now!I'm
looking at well into 420k in a year.

Setting up another good friendly rivalry!Lost the ugly truck badly, might
do better with this one.<G>

Ok, it's time to do the math. I work 15 days out of every 20, it's my daily
driver, which means I drive over 42 1/2 miles each way per day, plus trips to
Oregon and Washington (live in the Bay Area). It works out to be 26,000 miles
per year, and I already have over 400,00 miles on it. Plus, the mileage to the
Nats from the West Coast.

Actually, you're safe as I can't PROVE the 400,000 miles. Hey . . . Can YOU
prove the 400,000 miles ? I've put on over 125,000 miles since I bought it 5
years ago, and it said 98,000 on the odometer. So, it had either 98,000,
198,000, 298,000 or 398,000. It was too worn out to be 98,000, and looked to
beat to be 198,000, and there's no way (looked too good) it already had
398,000 on it, so I assume (yeah, I know what it means) it had 298,000 miles
on it when I got it. So, if it only had the 198,000 miles on it, then it only
has around 350,000. But I'm gaining on you by over 12,000 miles a year, so I
can beat you for sure for the mileage award by the year 2005. Better look out,
I'm gaining on ya. 8-)
