Humidity & Temp.

A question came up while out drinking the other night. No one could
answer it for sure. Here it is; How does humidity effect engine
temperature? The human body seems hotter when it is humid, because our
ability to perspire is lessened. This doesn't effect engines, but my
Scout seems to run hotter when it is humid. Anyone have a quick answer?
