Can anyone tell me why you *wouldn't* want a fuel tank made of
aluminum?
I'm thinking about welding up a custom made fuel tank, and would
like to
save weight.

I think I've seen them made out of pony kegs, I'm not sure but I think 
thats what they were, and alls I could think was MMMMM beer.
