Thanks for the suggestions and no, I don't know what it came with
originally.  Howard?  Did '73 Scout II's with 345's come with Holley
points distributors?  Never realized that's what a gold box did
directly!
I just hate to go spend the money on something if I am not sure it is
the culprit!  It was running for about three months with NO complaints
when I first got it, so I know that what is in it should work in some
way.
