you can certainly do that, but...

we do have individual message format, and if you subscribe to that, you can
receive the messages as they reach the server, instead of waiting for the
assembly of a digest.

to switch from digest to individual message format, use the following
procedure

send the following command to majordomo@domain.elided

subscribe ihc

after you receive the next digest, send the following message to
majordomo@domain.elided

unsubscribe ihc-digest

you _could_ combine these two commands in to one message to majordomo, but
you'll probably miss some postings that way.
