392 rebuild kits

Howdy,
	I've been lurking here for awhile and now it's time to post. I 
priced a rebuild kit today @ a local parts store. The price was 
$596.95. I'm hoping there are places to get kits cheaper than this. 
Does anyone know of such a place. It was a complete kit w/o pistons. 
What i'm hoping to do is get a better price and propose it to the 
parts shop and see if he can come close to meeting the new price. I 
really rather shop locally and help the little guy. It's privately 
owned and they're always nice enough to help out w/ special orders.
