ignition switch

thanks to the people who led me in the right direction on binder chat
last night. your help is appreciated.   i think my ignition switch is
trash as it starts when i wire the coil to the battery.  i don't know
if i will go with the old toggle switch or start searching in earnest
for an 800 ignition switch.
