Sorry to have bothered everyone with my carb problem. Turns out my new carb caused the accelerator cable to tighten, bringing the pedal closer to the firewall, up against a part of the clutch. When clutch was depressed, pedal moved. At this rate, I'll have this thing perfect by the next Ice Age. Alan
