Michael,
   I don't have an answer for you about measuring the drums, but; I
don't think that the type of drums on thye axles would effect
originality of a vehicle. Especially since they were also avalible in
the type you would be switching over to. Maybe some of you show
organising people out there can set me straight, would a conversion to a
larger more common brake set-up affect originality?
