Re: Heat shield material for the tranny hump, I use this foil backed bubble wrap stuff that they sell at Home Base. I put it between the tranny and the floor and between the floor and floor mat. It's cheap, easy to work with, won't rot or catch fire. You can glue it screw it or stuff it. Kent Scout builder/racer
