Has anyone found a speedo cable at their local parts store? I thought I

Ken,

For my model 80, I went down to Kragen Auto Parts, and
they had a replacement cable for about $6. It is only the
inner portion of the cable that you cut to size and install
in your existing sheathing. It comes with a new tip (the
part that goes into the back of your gauge) and a little
crimping tool to put it on once you get the cable cut.
