TomM T19/D20 Removal

Tom,
Regarding the T19/D20 fluids, these units are SO heavy (I forget
the actual weight ... perhaps 150 lbs for just the T19), the fluid
will add nothing to the whole package weight. Get a buddy with
strong arms or a proper jack for assist. Draining the fluid does
make it less messier if things tip over and it is probably easier to
do it now (when you can get a drip pan under it) than later when
siting on the floor. If you go it alone without proper tools,
draining the fluid is still a good idea ... when they dig the T19 out
of your gut, they won't get confused by "brown blood". I
always separate the D20 from the T19 and remove it first. Also,
I have drilled a one inch hole in my body coinciding with the D20
shift lever pin. I remove the rubber bung plug, drift out the pin
and remove the shift lever. Easier to manipulate the D20, less
stress on the housing and one less poker to get stuck in your crotch.
