Just another thing to think about.. one of the 4x4 rags had an article some months back about "custom" heavy duty spring perches... They started with some 2x2" box tubing, and then took a hole saw to one edge which made a semicircle the size of the axle tube. Box the ends, and you now have a beefy custom spring perch. -Tom
