Compressor
Yes, another post.. ;)
I remembered not to OPERATE the compressor upside down or anything, though I
can't remember if I ever had it *sitting* upside down for a period of time..
but, reading my IH Service Manual, sitting it upside down is a no-no as well.
I ran the pump for a moment or three last night, and it was working fine..
Anything I can do to avoid attempting to compress oil in the cylinders, or,
if it didn't self destruct already, am I OK?
Also, the service manual lists where the oil check plugs are (in the middle
on either side), but it refers me to CTS-4411 (or something) that doesn't
appear to be in the "BODIES AND CABS" section.. what type of oil, and how much?
;)
Thanks,
-Tom (who asks SOOO many questions!)
