Mark,

Don't you already have a 196?  Is that a Scout or Scout II?

I bet I could darn near fit a tire on the driver's side of the engine bay in
my '77 w/ the 196.. well, a 235/75R15 anyhow.. not 33x12.5s or such.

Hmm.. make a switch to some 17" wheels, put a body lift on it, and you might
be able to find an air-cleaner small enough to fit inside the "off-set" fo
the wheel, and just mount your spare over the air cleaner housing!
