Anyone have a clue where I could dig up the density of snow, wet/dry,
un-packed (and maybe loose packed)

I'd like to figure it out, then do some math... density x tire footprint x 4
tires = how much weight your rig can be to float.. 

I'm wondering if I would need 35x25" wide tires to keep my Scout II on top
:-)  At which point, I'll be headed for the tall n' narrow approach.
