If indeed these holes go through to the intake runners, this is a
problem.
You MIGHT be able to fix it, at least temporarily, by cleaning the area
using a small grinding wheel in a drill, then apply some JB Weld.
JB Weld is like epoxy, but dries gray, and is hard like metal. I think
they even claim you can use it to repair cracked blocks, but I have not
tried it for that.
Be sure to let it dry for 24 hours in a heated area before putting it on
and firing the engine, lest you just suck it through the holes with engine
vacuum. Also make sure any grinding dust/particles from the grind wheel
are not left inside the intake runner (clean it out by flushing water
through
before applying the JB weld) so no particles get inside the engine when
you start it.
