boat style rocker arms

Does anyone know when IH started putting the "Boat Style" rocker arms in the
345's?   I have a 345 from a 77 Scout 2 that needs heads.  I have found some
heads in the local junk yards from early Scout 2's, and would like to know
what years I should be looking for.  I am trying to avoid pulling off all the
valve covers to find out for myself.   Any help is appreciated!
