1950 L120
YES!!!!!!!
I am about 2/3 of the way through restoring a c.1957 ASW120 4X4.
It was rough when I got it after having been used as a tow truck until
it was only fit for farm work.(chassis has been bent and straightened
and channelled all over the place, steering welded together, etc.Has later
motor and 'box(240 Australian Gold Diamond and T-98)from probably a
C-line or late AB.
Of course, mine needs all the same bits as yours and the Aussie assembly
has these poxy 1/4 vents which form the front glass run channel. All very
well for opening up the window area, but nothing left to tell what kind
of rubber or felt was there.I'm told US models have a fixed glass run
channel.Comments?
I can buy some rubber to make my own 1/4 vent seals, but I haven't got a
clue on how I'm going to make neat holes in it for the screws.Maybe a
very hot drill bit.Anyone done this before?
Anyway,best of luck,Jed.
