IH folks,  I saw a 64 travelall sitting on the side of the highway for sale.
Its a 4x4 with 5 bolt axles and a pukey green/white two tone but since I love
that body style I had to see if I could get a screamin' deal on it.  I go in
the building and the salesman gives me the standard low mileage, good runner
cr*p.  It has a few dents and VERY LITTLE rust.  Asking price $2500.  As I was
walking out the door, he says oh yeah this was Hank Williams Jr.'s travelall.
Now this changes things a little for me.  I have the guy looking for paperwork
to prove this,  Supposedly bought new by him when he was a kid.  Still don't
know if its true but it has to add some interest to the story.  Does anyone
even care about this?   Enough rambling from me.  Nice enough IH even if not
owned by Hank.  345, 2bl, 4x4 don't know the gears, 4 speed, needs paint and
dent work.  If anyone is interested let me know and I'll pass along the
number.  By the way (yap yap yap) I am thinking about buying this 51 IH 2x4
(yet to be seen).  Is $150 reasonable?  I think I'll buy it.
