I had the same problem as Tom with my master cylinder leaking out the top right after I replaced it. My solution was to put in a second cover gasket that I bought from the "help" or Motormite" section at the local parts chain. It's a little harder to get the retaining wire over the cover, but it fixed the leak. Happy Scoutn, Bryan
