I've had a distributor fire at the wrong time.  Boy did it run lousy.

It was a Ford Tempo.  I went to the dealer for a new dist cap and they 
had redesigned the cap with a *big* vent.  Seems a lot of people had this 
problem when the weather got damp.  Happened to me coming home on a snowy 
day and the streets were wet with slush.  

The new cap fixed it perfectly.
