Laquer thinner. Cheap hardware store stuff is fine. Glue on with 3M Super
Weatherstip Adhesive. Or the Wurth equivalent if you can find someone to sell
it to you.
On many cars, including many BMWs, the trunk weatherstrip is NOT glued in
place, but uses internal metal grips. Rip off the old, stick on the new. No
mess.

Anybody have any tips for removing an old leaky trunk weatherstripping and
then installing new weatherstripping? Any favorite tools or glues?
Thanks.
