Thanks for the reply. I've now cleaned the ABS gear, pried out the sensor
and cleaned it up. Still don't have enough signal to keep the pump from
running at slow speed, although it may be slightly better, as in
occasionally it doesn't run.

What is the correct orientation of the diamond shaped head on the sensor
relative the the abs gear?

   I've had to wire-brush the ABS gear wheels, and clean the head of
the ABS sensors.
   I've also had to reposition the sensors to get a "better" signal.
   If that fails, They should be available in salvage yards.
