Re: oil service reset

Gene,

I have succesfully reset the oil service indicator
on my '98 328i by connecting pins 7 & 19 as described
in the FAQ, and then removing the connection after about
3 seconds.  The ignition must be on while doing this.

The indicator will not reset if you do not remove the
connection after the specified time.
