Bilstein Sport Shochs on the rear of E36is

Having isolated the 'right rear shudder when accelerating hard on right hand
turns'
to a tired right rear shock and mount ( thanks to Carl Scholz and Douglas M.
Max
of this Digest), we are now trying to decide what type of shocks to go with
and
whether to do all four corners. I've been told by one of the places that I
contacted
for Bilsteins that if the car has a sports suspension (which it has), only a
Bilstein
Sport Shock should be used. Question is, money definitely being a factor here
as my son has a list of many minor appearance mods. that he wants to do on the
car, can we go with a pair of new Bilstein Sports on the rear and leave the
fronts
(original factory sports) alone for now? Would this set up be compatible? Has
anyone done it, and if so, any problems? TIA.
