Warranty Answer!

Hi all,

After researching the warranty option several weeks, I also bought the
extended warranty (Warranty Gold) for my baby, E36, 97. last year. I am
definitely sure that it is worth to buy it if you want to keep your baby
at least 5 years more.
There are several factors why you need the extended (aftermarket)
warranty:
1.	The BMW part and labor aren!/t cheap You never know what is
gonna happen from now on.
2.	Better coverage - almost Bumper to bumper coverage: This coverage
is much better than the dealer warranty. The dealer used to try to
exclude many parts with unreasonable excuses.
3.	Flexibility to choose the repair shop, almost anywhere. But, you
like to go to the BMW dealer shop
4.	It is a cheaper than the dealer!/s one.
5.	You can fix your baby with the genuine part
6.	The dealer shop loves to fix.

I totally agree that there are many careless morons at the BMW dealer shop
and independent shop. However, I don!/t think all problems can be fixed
at the independent shop. If you can afford the high repair price, why
you don!/t go to the BMW dealer shop. And, the dealer shop loves to fix
your baby in order to make a profit. I have already gotten the price
($1000) back after fixing the seat-rolling problem at the dealer shop.
