E30 Convertible top questions

Is replacement of the rear window on late E30s a DIY project? Car is a 92
325ic.
The window is a zip in but I don't see a slider. I checked the ETK and a
replacement is available but I haven't found any instructions on the
procedure.
Instructions and/or recommendations on a qualified shop in the
Baltimore/Washington area would be appreciated.
