Seeker,

  Driver schools, autocross events, or track days have these techs that will 
probably send that "beat up piece of crap pickup" home.  3 months isn't bad 
at all - especially for softer compounds dialed in with a little negative 
camber.  Believe it or not, it's actually easy (not to mention a lot of fun) 
not to get 3 months out of the tires - or the brakes, for that matter.
