Re: 235/45/17 tire questions

Bridgestone Potenza S-02 Pole Position (if you can
still find them...and what I had on my bimmers and
porsche for the last 4 years), Bridgestone S-03 Pole
Position (just got them this week), Pirelli Pzero
(directionales on front, and asimetrico on rear),
Pirelli P5000 (don't know anything about them, but
some digester said they are comparably cheap, new, and
good for the price so you might want to look into them
if you can find them), Michelin Pilot Sport (gee does
their tire pattern look awfully like the pole
positions???!). The high-perf Yokohamas ie A008P or
A032R are great dry tires, but scary in the rain.

If you can afford 'em, and for the best performance
w/out having to slow down to 40mph on the highway in a
downpour, my bet is w/ the pole positions (S-02 or
S-03). I love them and won't switch back to Michelins.
