Conforti OBDII Shark Performance upgrade for M3/M Roadster/Coupe

I own a 1999 M Coupe, that has the same engine as the 1999 M3.
I am considering purchasing the Conforti chip upgrade for my car.
Does anyone out there have any true life experience of the performance 
improvement,
that this upgrade provides.

I have purchased other chip performance upgrades, in the past, with little or 
no noticeable performance enhancements.
