The dealer just called me with the results of my adventure: Replacing one
shredded tire $187, mounting/balancing/hammering $65. I feel like I've
dodged a bullet... the only damage from the car falling off the jack was
to bend the rotor backing plate.

I don't suggest anyone try it, but you'd be amazed at how well the new 3
series drives uphill on snow with only 3 tires (and no chains)...
