seasonal rim/tire storage

I run two sets of rims/tires, 15s w/snows in the winter and 16s in
the summer. Due to space issues, I have been storing the respective
sets in a single stack, with the rim face facing up.
Will this cause any problems/damage? If so, how should I properly
store my rims/tires? (The summers on on the car from April until
November.)
