Steering rack

 I have a 91 318is (FL car, 49,000) that I'm going to be selling.  The 
steering rack leaks badly, not sure if it's the hoses or seals.  I picked up 
a never installed rebuilt rack for a 87 325i for $175. Will the difference be 
noticeable between the two?  So much so I should sell the 325 rack and buy a 
direct replacement?  I really would like to put the additional money toward 
my next BMW.
