[E28] electrical problem

Aaron,
Unless you've replace wiring, you've got high potential for oxydized
conductor syndrom. Check your fuses again first, because that's what
the "no speedo" sounds like, but the rest of it sounds like one of my
adventures, caused by oxydized positive cable (battery to starter) and
accessory lugs at the battery. Suggest take these off, clean them up,
and even tin them with solder if possible to improve conductivity. If
the copper conductors in these cables are all brown, you'd be advised to
replace them before something more major happens, like the time the
resistance got so high that the cable melted the lead clamp at the
battery and the car stopped completely.
