Mark,

I've had a 1990 525i for about a year and really enjoyed it. Some things
to watch for:
	1) the water pump (mine had to be replaced last summer; I've heard the
pumps on the early 525i's have been prone to fail)
	2) at 119k, the front arm bushings may well worn if they've never been
replaced.
	3) cruise (does it actually work? Mine failed mysteriously.)
	4) there have been three recalls on this car. Check www.nhtsa.dot.gov for
more info.

IMO $7900 seems a bit high for the year and mileage. $6500–$7000 seems
more reasonable.
